End of Summer Term (what a strange one)

What a crazy term it has been! We went completely online which was so strange for all of us as dancing is such a social activity and it was very different to what we are used to! Everybody coped so well with it and we are very proud of you all! We had lots of things on offer to keep your children entertained throughout, such as:

Weekly online dance classes - for 15 weeks, we ran dance classes through Zoom. Everyone who has taken part has worked so hard on their dances, grades, technique and performance. We have even had students trying out new styles and finding out they enjoy them so much that they want to continue in the studio, which is fantastic! There have been tough moments though, e.g. internet issues or finding it hard to focus on the screen with so many distractions around but we have coped and made it to the end of the term! We thank you so much for your continued support.

Quizzes, dress up competitions and a variety of challenges - Miss Kali has thoroughly enjoyed offering so many different activities to our students throughout lockdown and she is pleased to hear/see that so many of you did too!

Workshops - we have ran lots of themed workshops with guest teachers as well which have been so magical and rewarding to watch through the screen!

This year, we say goodbye to Miss Kaye who has been a wonderful teacher to our Meadow Vale Infant children this past year. They have loved her classes and will miss her dearly! She is moving to a different primary school so is no longer available to teach for us. Thank you for everything you have done for Elibah School of Dance and we wish you all the best on your next chapter!

As we head into the summer holidays, we have plenty of activities running in our usual Basingstoke and Bracknell areas, so please get in contact if you would like some more information on this?

Take care, stay safe and see you soon!
