Autumn 2021 Newsletter

  • We returned to Floreat Montague Park School offering all ballet and street dance classes - it feels good to be back!

  • 10.10.21 Lost and Found Gala @ Kennet School - We were so privileged to have been given the opportunity to perform at this event at it's opening year! Between all of the chaos of isolating, 12 dancers from St Andrew's School took to the stage with a LIVE audience! They performed beautifully and Miss Kali is so proud of them all! It could not have gone ahead without our wonderful chaperone, Jen Townsend - Thank you so much for giving up your Sunday to help us get ready and cheer them on from backstage.

  • 16.10.21 Lift Off Gala 2021@ The Wilde Theatre, South Hill Park - Less than one week after the Lost and Found Gala, another group of dancers took to the stage in Bracknell. 10 dancers - a mixture of our Junior Elites and some students from Oaklands Junior School were finally able to shine up on stage after 2 other cancelled events, due to COVID. This was the first time for a lot of them to perform on a stage. We think they did a brilliant job at entertaining their family, friends and other audience members who came to watch! Well done to all who took part! Huge thanks also go to our chaperone, Becky Glover, for helping out all day with hair, make-up and backstage chaperoning - we couldn't have done it without you - thank you!

  • Halloween Camp at St Andrew's School – Our dancers at St Andrew’s gave us a scare at Halloween with their fantastically scary costumes. It was a week full of themed dancing, tattoos, crafts, pinatas, discos, and much more – fun was had by all!

  • RAD Ballet, Acrobatic Arts, ISTD Tap and ISTD Modern exams all took place between November and December. There was a total of 33 students who took online and in-person exams with us. We all think they worked so hard to prepare through lockdowns and isolations and we are so proud of everything they have achieved. Massive thanks so Miss Abby, Miss Laura and Miss Louisa for the long days doing hair and general help with the exam days.

  • Christmas Camp at St Andrew's School – Another successful week at our Christmas camp at St Andrew’s. It was a brilliant build up for the big day with festive hats, glow sticks and a special visit from Miss Kali’s big doggy, Jasper!
